HTC expands Desire range with new smartphones

HTC has unveiled two new smartphones, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and the HTC Desire 10 Pro. According to the company, the HTC Desire Lifestyle is a mid-range phone, which is set to launch at a recommended retail price (RRP) of EUR349/GBP249/R4482.

The Android 6.0 powered smartphone features a 5.5-inch screen, which comes with a resolution of 720p. To add to the specs, the device also features a 1.4 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor from Qualcomm, 2 GB or 3 GB RAM (depending on model purchased), and 32 GB internal storage. The device also features a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

According to HTC, the HTC Desire 10 Pro is expected to launch in November 2016. The HTC Desire 10 Pro sports an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, with a choice of 3GB or 4GB RAM, and 64 GB storage. To add to the specs, it also features a 5.5-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080p.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro. also comes with a 20MP rear-facing camera and a 13MP front-facing camera. To add to the features, the devices also comes standard with a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device. Featuring a matte body with metallic lines around the edge, the phone will be available in black, white, navy blue and light blue. Both phones come with 24-bit high-resolution audio.
