South Africa: Xbox One gets a price drop during E3 2017

Xbox One S South Africa

Prima Interactive, in partnership with Xbox South Africa, has revealed that it will be offering savings of up to R700 on Xbox One Console bundles to coincide with the E3 Gaming Event in LA. That’s right, so if you don’t have an Xbox One, but want to get in on the action then these deals are for you.

The below deals will only be valid for 10 days – from 9 June to 19 June:

  • The Xbox One consoles will have a saving of R 700, with the 500G + Fifa 17 retailing for R 3 299 and the 1Tb + Fifa 17 for R 4 299.
  • The Xbox One S consoles with 4K HDR will be R 4 499 for the 500G + Fifa 17 and R 5 499 for the 1Tb version + Fifa 17, offering a saving of R 500.

Beyond the console bundle specials, Xbox gamers can also pick up an extra controller for only R 799, which amounts to a R200 saving over the same period. The discounted controller is available in either black or white, but a range of colour options are also available at normal prices.

Furthermore, gamers can enjoy a few games for free this month, courtesy of a Gold Xbox Live membership. This month’s free offerings are Speed runner, Phantom Dust and Assassins Creed, with Watchdogs and Dragon Age Origins available from 16/6. Xbox One gamers can also board the gaming nostalgia train via their console’s backwards compatibility functionality that makes more than 150 Xbox 360 games available for inclusion in their gaming library.
