South Africa: MTN GameZBoost Challenge reaches epic final

9 February 2017 marks a do or die moment for the eight contestants that will be vying for the mouth-watering R350 000 grand prize in the MTN GameZBoost Challenge. The MTN GameZBoost Challenge is a series of online tournaments that kicked off on December 5, 2016.

The GameZBoost Challenge was open to MTN customers for a subscription of R2 per day. A different game was used each week during the eight-week duration of the competition.

In the run up to today’s event, one winner was selected each week for a R50 000 prize money, and the 8 weekly winners became eligible to be part of the today’s event. Today, the 8 finalists are contesting for the grand prize of R350 000 in a three rounds challenge. Heinrich van Niekerk came out victorious as a grand prize winner.

The great news is that the runner ups will not go home empty handed, the 1st runner up walks away with a R150 000 prize and other contestants are walking away with R50 000 each.

The final contestants have reiterated how this is changing their lives, being able to aspire to buy a house, car, education with the winnings from the competition is phenomenal.
